We pick you up at the pier and drive via Akershus Fortress, Kvadraturen and The Opera to Bjørvika – the newest part of Oslo. Further on via Oslo Cathedral, Main Square, Royal Palace and Frogner to The Vigeland Sculpture Park.
We walk an hour through the park and look at Gustav Vigeland 's amazing sculptures. After the walk we will be picked up and driven on to Holmenkollen Ski Jump, Biathlon- and Nordic Ski Arena, Oslo's most visited tourist attraction. View from the stands over the city and the fjord.
On the return trip back to the city, we drive through the former industrial area Skøyen and out to the peninsula of Bygdøy where the Fram Museum is located. Fram was the ship explorer Fridtjof Nansen has built and sailed with when he attempted to reach the North Pole in 1893-1896. Later the ship was used by Roald Amundsen when he 1911 was the first living man to reach the South Pole.
On the return to the ship we are able to see Oslo City Hall where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded on December 10th each year. Return to the ship by car.
